The drive has a piezoelectric element (1) electrically isolated opposite a resonator (5). A position encoder (31) is arranged at a driven element (3), and the drive is arranged such that an electrical signal resting against the piezoelectric element is coupled electrically and capacitively to the resonator. A signal transmission device transmits a signal linked into the resonator to the position encoder. Another position encoder (32) receives the signal transmitted to the position encoder as soon as a geometrical distance between the encoders falls below a predetermined value.
