The method involves using a flowable testing medium. The testing medium is pressed by a pressure in an area between a closure structure (1) and a mountain (3). Permeability is determined in a contact zone (2) by a flow module from a flow volume or from a pressure drop of a testing pressure. An independent claim is also included for a device for testing and for detecting permeability in a contact zone between the host rocks of a mountain and a dismantling material of a structure, e.g. an underground closure structure.
