The function is directly integrated in a core chipset, a bus system and a basic input/output system (BIOS) on a motherboard of a computer. The BIOS configures and controls functions such as port filter function, packet filter function, application filter function, uniform resource locator (URL) filter function, and function of blocking of Internet protocol (IP) addresses and address areas, where the unauthorized disconnection of the firewall is prevented by access protection of the BIOS.
