The method involves measuring the magnetic fields to be compensated with respect to its flux density and its field line direction and producing a reverse current magnetic field of same flux density. Three hall sensors are used for measuring the magnetic field, which stands perpendicularly on top of one another so that they measure the total flux density (B) of the magnetic field in the three vector directions of horizontal parts (B-x,B-y,B-z). An independent claim is also included for device for local compensation of a magnetic field.
