The method involves using solid-oxide fuel cell (SOFC) heat for heating, reforming or gasification of fuel. The SOFC heat with returned part of the anode exhaust gas is used for heating air and fuel. The SOFC waste heat is not removed by excess of air. An independent claim is also included for solid-oxide fuel cell system.
