The method involves guiding an activation event result for executing active pressure generation in a brake circuit, where the activation event result is an actuation of a brake actuating unit of a motorcycle (30). The activation event result is guided to no active pressure generation in the brake circuit by an integral function of a brake system of the motorcycle in a determined condition in which a braking effect of the active pressure generation is not necessary. An independent claim is also included for an electronic brake system, in particular an integral brake system for a motorcycle.
