The structure (1) has two longitudinal rods (4, 5) pointing lateral to a driving direction of a motor vehicle e.g. car, and a structure unit (6) connecting the longitudinal rods. The structure unit and the longitudinal rods have overlapping areas (15, 16) in the driving direction of the motor vehicle. The structure unit and the longitudinal rods are stuck to each other. The longitudinal rods are opened for retaining connecting pieces (13, 14) of the structural unit in the driving direction.
