The device has a hydraulic pump (P) loading hydraulic pressure into a hydraulic drive cylinder (10), and a steering shaft-actuator (100) taking up liquid pressure of the pump and applying a torque to a steering column (2). A condition sensor (400) collects information with respect to either an associated host vehicle (401) or an associated driver (402). A liquid pressure price-increasing/regulating unit (300) takes up the information from the sensor, and controls or regulates the actuator based on the information, where the information regards consciousness degree of the driver.
