The train (1) has a drive shaft (3) coupled with a transmission shaft (5) by a clutch device (9), where the clutch device has an air cooling system (13). The air cooling system is assigned to a compressed air source for the active production of a cooling air flow rate (15) by compressed air. The clutch device is upstream of a control valve (21) e.g. pressure control valve, on-off-valve and/or clocked operatable valve, for controlling the cooling air flow rate. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a clutch device of a motor vehicle drive train of a motor vehicle.
