The bearing i.e. cylindrical slide bearing (1), has a lower bearing half (3) chamfered at an inner end edge adjacent to a front inner end edge of an upper bearing half (2). A cross-sectional surface of corresponding chamfered spatial sections (5, 7) is provided perpendicular to an axis of the bearing. The spatial sections are formed by chamfering, where the surface of the chamfered spatial sections has same size as a surface of chamfered corner sections with a length of 0.15 millimeters (mm) to 0.4 mm.
