A control valve (60) controls the path area of lubricating fuel path (51) through which fuel is induced from a low pressure pump (25) to a cam chamber (13). The area of the fuel path at time of low speed rotation of the engine is made smaller than the area of the fuel path at time of high speed rotation of the engine.
