Fuel supply apparatus for e.g. diesel engine, has check valve which regulates flow of fuel from fuel tank diesel engine through ventilation path and fuel filter

The apparatus has a priming pump set along an ventilation path that leads fuel from a fuel tank to the diesel engine, through a fuel filter and a check valve. A load plating bath accumulates fuel overflowing from the priming pump, before the fuel is led back to the fuel tank through a return path and a bimetal valve. An Independent claim is also included for the fuel filter.
