The mirror has a transparent substrate arranged with a layer system. A transparent intermediate layer is observed upward from the substrate and a metallic reflection layer is arranged on the substrate. A base layer containing a metal, metal alloy or an oxide of the metal or the metal alloy is arranged below the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer is made of highly breakable and dielectric materials. The intermediate layer contains an oxide of zinc, titanium, tin and aluminum, and contains silicon nitride.
