PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence microscope which can reduce fading of a specimen due to wasteful irradiation with exciting light, and also can realize power saving.;SOLUTION: In the fluorescence microscope, photographing is made possible, by guiding light from an LED 4 onto a specimen S via an illumination optical system and by guiding fluorescence emitted from the specimen S to a CCD camera 11 via an observation optical system.
