The system (1) has a left optical module and a right optical module to ensure dipped beam type lighting e.g. asymmetric lighting of path on which a vehicle circulates. The modules have light sources (8, 9) for asymmetric lighting with limited range from left and right sides of the path, respectively. The left and the right sources are illuminated selectively according to which the vehicle is used on a right or left traffic lanes.
