The assembly has an earthing switch whose casing (4) is fixed at metal tank (2) by support clamps (20, 40). An electrically insulating washer (3) is inserted between the support clamps, and earthing shunt units short-circuit an electric insulation of the insulating washer under normal functioning of electrical equipment (1). A metal washer (7) with tabs (70a, 70b, 70c) is inserted between the support clamp (20) of the tank and the insulating washer. A removable metal part (8) is supported against the casing and the tabs so as to create electrical contacts of an earthing shunt.
