A camera device has two main bodies (1,3). The first main body has an electrical connector (11) arranged on the side end. A universal joint (2) with one end pivotally connected with the first main body. The second main body is pivotally fixed on the other end of the universal joint and electrically connected to the first main body. A camera unit (4) is electrically connected to the second main body. The electric connector conforms to Universal serial Bus (USB) specifications or to Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers standards (IEEE) 1394 specifications.
