The assembly has an extra-discal elastic unit (40) e.g. spring, arranged behind an intervertebral space (30) and limiting displacement between two adjacent vertebrae (10, 20) in a direction of intervertebral flexion. An intra-discal elastic unit (42) e.g. spring, ensures intervertebral spacing and compressed during lordosis of the vertebrae to control the lordosis. The elastic units mutually interact until an equilibrium point is found, where the equilibrium point is displaced in a dynamic manner and controlled by external forces e.g. weight of a patient and contraction of muscles.
