The device has a bell shaped body (1) for receiving articulated hooks (4, 4a) to remove or push caps on manual or automatic machines, where the hooks are pivoted in an opening (12). The hooks are retained and moved to a closed position by a spring or elastic (11). A sliding guide piece (2) is fixed on a support (10), and assists to open the hooks. A rod (5) captures presence of one of the caps in the body by movement of an upper part of the rod for reporting the presence of the cap over an electrical or mechanical sensor.
