PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conference system which can effectively utilize resources and allow a new conference to be easily held.;SOLUTION: The conference system 3 for allocating resources to conferences using terminals 1a to 1d includes a conference status table having an identifier and a useful value for a conference using the resources, a request acceptor 4 for accepting a conference start request, a conference opener 7 for securing resources to be used for the conference and recording an opening conference identifier and an initial value of the useful value in the conference status table, and a resource releaser 10 for selecting conferences which can release resources on the basis of the useful value of the conferences recorded in the conference status table and releasing the resources of the selected conferences when there is no usable resource necessary for the conference opening.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
