PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulating system for a garage capable of suitably restraining noise, generated in the garage, from affecting the surroundings, and to provide a building with the garage.;SOLUTION: A house 10 is provided with the garage 13 adjacent to an indoor space 11 such as a living room. The garage 13 is an attached garage integrally provided at the house 10 and is formed with a garage space 15 in the garage 13 to allow an automobile 14 to enter. In this case, a terminal unit 42 is installed on a floor face 23 of the garage space 15, and a canceling sound of opposite phase to noise in a low frequency range is output from the terminal unit 42. A ceiling surface 25 of the garage space 15 is provided with a sound absorbing material 37, and a resonance space is formed in a partition wall 19 constituting a side face 19a.
