PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure directly a conductor temperature of a connection part of a high-voltage power cable, and to monitor a temperature outside based on a measured value. PSOLUTION: This connection device 1 of the high-voltage power cable has a conductor connection pipe 9 for fitting respective conductors 5 of the high-voltage power cable 3 on the outer periphery in the butting state, and connecting the respective conductors 5 together; and a wireless type temperature sensor 11 in contact with the surface of the conductor connection pipe 9 in order to measure the temperature of the conductors 5 through the conductor connection pipe 9. The device 1 is characterized by providing the wireless type temperature sensor 11 and the conductor connection pipe 9 inside an internal conductive layer 17 which is a part constituting an insulating cylinder 15.
