PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly isolating multiple-drug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa (MDRP) without causing an omission in picking-up, and to provide a selective culture medium therefor.;SOLUTION: Provided are the method for isolating MDRP, comprising dissolving 35.8 g of a NAC agar culture medium (dried powder), 16 mg of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride, and 32 mg of amikacin in 1,000 mL of water, boiling the solution, cooling the boiled solution to 60°C, adding 0.032 g of an imipenem cilastatin sodium equivalent weight mixture to make an agar plate culture medium, smearing the culture medium with a sample such as a patient specimen, culturing it at a constant temperature of 36±1°C for 24 hours, and checking the presence or absence of a yellow to yellowish green colony on the culture medium; and the selective culture medium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
