PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant specific information setting system capable of reducing the setting time for setting specific information to a personal digital assistant.;SOLUTION: When it is discriminated by periodic reading operation of an RF reader/writer 205 of a specific information providing device 200 that a transfer request of specific information is written into an RF tag 203 by an RF reader/writer 105 of a personal digital assistant 100, specific information stored in a predetermined data format in a memory unit 204 is written into the RF tag 203. After the transfer request of the specific information is written in the RF tag 203, the personal digital assistant 100 of a transfer request source periodically reads data of the RF tag 203 in a predetermined cycle by means of the RF reader/writer 105 and at a point of time when it is discriminated that the requested specific information is written into the RF tag 203, the specific information is set to the relevant personal digital assistant 100, so that the personal digital assistant 100 operates thereafter based on the specific information set thereto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
