PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual multi-phase Ni based intermetallic compound alloy whose surface has increased hardness.;SOLUTION: The dual multi-phase Ni based intermetallic compound alloy uses a dual multi-phase Ni based intermetallic compound alloy containing 10 to 1,000 wt.ppm B to the total weight of a composition of 100 atomic% in total essentially consisting of Ni and also containing 5.5 to 13 atomic% Al, 10 to 17 atomic% V, 0 to 6 atomic% Nb, 0 to 6 atomic% Ti, 0 to 6 atomic% Co and 0 to 6 atomic% Cr, and having a dual multi-phase structure composed of a proeutectoid L12 phase and an (L12+D022) eutectoid structure as a base material, and in which the base material is subjected to surface treatment by at least either nitriding treatment or carburizing treatment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
