TEMPORARILY TWISTED COMPOSITE YARN FOR CLOTH COHESIVE TAPE SUBSTRATE, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF AND THICK COHESIVE TAPE BASE CLOTH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporarily twisted sheath-core composite yarn comprising polyester-based multifilament and for thick cloth cohesive tape base cloth causing no exfoliation of a substrate polyethylene film from the woven base cloth, having good hand-tearable properties in attaching work, causing no strength decrease when wetted, and having neither thickness ununiformity nor concave and convex impression, and to provide a production method of the yarn.;SOLUTION: The temporarily twisted sheath-core composite yarn comprising polyester-based multifilament undrawn fiber and drawn fiber is provided, wherein, by drawing at a low drawing ratio the undrawn fiber composing the sheath fiber part, the fusion-cure degree of the sheath fiber part and the fiber length difference between the core fiber part and the sheath fiber part are effectively controlled, and the temporarily twisted composite yarn for the thick cloth cohesive tape base cloth, causes no double-cutting and can give uniform and proper bulkiness, strength and elongation.
