PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active defensive method against a missile capable of reducing explosive power of the missile, reducing a sensor function of the missile, or guiding the missile to a wrong vector by detecting the approaching missile.;SOLUTION: Radar waves of millimeter wave transmitted by a third person is received by a millimeter wave receiver 58 through an omnidirectional antenna 57, and the information is added to a computer 20. Further outputs of a plurality of photoreceptors 46 different from each other in light receiving directions are added to the computer 20 through a switch 56. Approaching of the missile is judged when the computer 20 receives the millimeter wave, but as the receiving direction of the millimeter waves cannot be known, Peltier element units 29 are selected in order in the meanwhile to suppress concentration of power consumption.
