DEFORMATION DETECTOR OF ROPE FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformation detector of a rope for an elevator capable of automatically detecting the deformation of the rope for the elevator by clarifying a contour of the rope even by the reflected light of the light irradiated on the rope for the elevator, and clarifying the signal processing of the light.;SOLUTION: The deformation detector of the rope for the elevator comprises a laser beam oscillator 21 (a beam irradiator) for irradiating laser beam on a rope 25 (a cable), a CCD camera 22 (an image pickup instrument) which is provided at the position where the beam irradiated from the laser beam oscillator 21 and its reflected light L (a laser marker) form an angle θ, and picks up the image of the reflected light L of the laser beam irradiated from the laser beam oscillator 21 reflected by the rope 25, and outputs the picked-up image, and a deformation detector 10 which receives the image output from the CCD camera 22 and detects the deformation in the rope 25 if any discontinuous part is found in pixels on the laser beam out of the received image.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
