PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that time required for migrating from an existing logical disk to a new logical disk takes longer time by the time required for generating parity. PSOLUTION: A logical disk reconstruction device migrates an existing logical disk formed of a plurality of redundant groups in which data and parity are individually distributed in a plurality of physical disks, to a new logical disk. The logical disk reconstruction device includes: a reproduction part which reproduces a redundant group which forms the existing logical disk, without performing regeneration of the parity to the new logical disk; and a monitor part which judges whether all redundant groups that form existing logical disk are reproduced in the new logical disk.
