PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire type gantry crane capable of minimizing adverse effects on the environment in terms of noise and exhaust gas, simplifying a main body structure and preventing operation delay caused by a power source and enabling an efficient movement between lanes. PSOLUTION: The tire type gantry crane 1 makes a movement along a predetermined traveling lane L within the lane L to load/unload containers C1 for a container yard and a movement between a plurality of lanes. During the movement within the lane L, electric power is supplied from external power sources 10 arranged on the respective traveling lanes L to the crane 1. During the movement between the lanes L, the crane 1 is mounted with a power source container 20 having a power source supply part for supplying a power source and a case body for storing the power source supply part, and electric power is supplied from the power source container 20 to the crane 1.
