PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem that, a conventionally-used numerical analyzing method does not provide the analytic display of a closed form in which an influence of the rigidity of each layer of the pile draft foundation ground can be incorporated in a settlement calculation, and therefore, it is not available as a numerical analyzing method with high accuracy in a quantitative aspect.;SOLUTION: There is proposed a new analyzing method relating to the settlement of a group pile foundation and a pile draft foundation in the multilayered ground. Firstly the pile draft foundation ground formed of a pile draft and the original ground is modeled as the equivalent combined ground by using an equivalent elastic modulus method. Next the combined ground is modeled as the equivalent multilayered ground by using an equivalent conversion thickness method. Further, analysis display expressions relating to the group pile foundation and the pile draft foundation which take group pile effects into consideration and have interaction coefficients incorporated therein are proposed, and a solution of a simple closed form that is applicable to foundation designing is proposed. In this manner, it is clarified that the proposed model can adequately predict a measured value relating to the group pile foundation and the pile draft foundation in the multilayered ground.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
