PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contrast improving sheet which has satisfactory transparency, is excellent in shielding property of light emission of near IR light and Ne components, etc., and is excellent in contrast improvement, and to provide a front filter having satisfactory electromagnetic wave shielding property together with these functions, and to provide a plasma display which is excellent in image quality, and enables the manufacturing cost thereof to be reduced.;SOLUTION: The contrast improving sheet for the plasma display is provided with a transparent resin layer 3, barrier layer 6 and near IR-Ne light shielding adhesive layer 7 which are successively laminated on one surface of a transparent film substrate 2. The transparent resin layer 3 is provided with groove parts 4 filled with black resin 5. The barrier layer 6 prevents the components constituting the transparent resin layer and the black resin from transitioning to the near IR-Ne light shielding adhesive layer. The near IR-Ne light shielding adhesive layer 7 contains a coloring matter for near IR absorption and a coloring matter for Ne light absorption in adhesive.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
