PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and an earphone of a bone conduction type that inserts a bone conduction portion into an external acoustic meatus, which can attain efficient bone conduction without inserting a vibrator in the bone conduction portion.;SOLUTION: A bone conduction-type receiver receives a voice band AC signal having a maximum voltage of 30 to 50 Vp-p, vibrates a piezoelectric vibrator to thereby transmit the signal with bone conduction. The piezoelectric vibrator has a shape of a plate, crosses in a housing at a coupling portion of a pair of concave housings to be arranged with tension so as to vibrate in a direction perpendicular to a cross section. Vibration auxiliary weights are attached at the near center of the vibrator. A bone conduction element, which can be inserted into the external acoustic meatus, is provided projecting outside the housing in opposition to the cross section of the piezoelectric vibrator, whereby vibration of the piezoelectric vibrator is guided into the external acoustic meatus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
