PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color gamut information creation apparatus, a color gamut information creation method and a color gamut information creation program for creating color gamut information that enables a color gamut to be more faithfully reproduced by reflecting a hollow of the color gamut. PSOLUTION: According to outer shell point extraction processing of the present embodiments, since a condition is provided where a distance between outer shell points 64 is settled within a reference distance (d), when a hollow of a color gamut 62 is present, outer shell points 64 representing that hollow may be extracted, so that color gamut information can be created which enables the color gamut to be more faithfully reproduced based on these extracted outer shell points 64.
