PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of calculating and acquiring deflection of a mold support member in an object press to be simulated.;SOLUTION: The method of calculating and acquiring deflection of a mold support member includes: a measuring step S1 for measuring strains in press working at a plurality of positions of the mold support member, with a strain measuring unit; a setting step S2 for preliminarily setting the relation between strains at the plurality of positions in the press working and the load acting on the mold support member in the press working; a load calculating step S3 for calculating the load value acting on the mold support member with a load calculating apparatus, based on the measured strain value and the set relation; and a deflection calculating step S4 for calculating deflection amount of the mold support member from the calculated load value with a deflection calculating apparatus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
