[PROBLEMS] To provide a method for acquiring by computation the deflection of a die supporting member of a simulation press. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A deflection acquiring method comprises a measuring step (S1) of measuring the strains in positions of a die supporting member by means of a strain gauge when a work is pressed, a setting step (S2) of presetting the relation between the strains and the load exerted on the die supporting member when the work is pressed, a load computing step (S3) of allowing a load computing device to compute the value of the load according to the measured strain values and the preset relation, and a deflection computing step (S4) of allowing a deflection computing device to compute the deflection of the die supporting member from the load value.
