PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing style investigative device, and a method and a program for investigating a packing style capable of examining an optimal packing style even of a flexibly deformable member.;SOLUTION: This packing style investigative processing device 10 has part DB 11, 12, 14 for storing information on parts to be packing objects defined by a plurality of nodes having a mass and links connecting the nodes, packing material information DB 13 storing information on a packing material for housing the parts, and a packing style investigative processing part 16 for examining the packing style with reference to a part database and a packing material database. Information on the parts stored in the part DB includes a horizontal rigidity value in a linking direction, and a vertical rigidity value vertical to a face defined by the link, and the packing style investigative processing part 16 calculates a resultant force generated to the nodes from the mass of the node, the horizontal rigidity value and the vertical rigidity value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
