PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for efficiently executing calibration in a multi-viewpoint image photography system with high precision. PSOLUTION: A light emitting spherical body is photographed from different directions by cameras to be an object for calibration processing, the center position of the spherical body is extracted from a photography image frame as a feature point, feature point association based on the extracted center position of the spherical body is executed, calculation of a fundamental (Fundamental) matrix is executed on the basis of the feature point association data. The light emitting spherical body which is hardly affected by an influence illumination environment, etc. is used as a calibration tool, the F matrix is estimated while detecting the center positions of the spherical body in real time and performing association of the center positions of the spherical body, the number of required association points and a spherical body position which is to be placed on a three-dimensional space are instructed by evaluating an error and a positional relation between the estimated F matrix and the association points, and the F matrix with higher precision can be efficiently calculated.
