PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book guide system for accurately retrieving information of exhibited books; a book classification processing apparatus; and a book guide method.;SOLUTION: In a book guide system for guiding information of books with IC tags attached thereto, a portable terminal 201 reading information of the IC tags attached to the books is connected to a book database 205 in which the information of the IC tags and information including book classification and book information are associated with each other via a communication line network. The portable terminal 201 includes a transmission unit transmitting the information of the IC tags to the database 205, and the database 205 includes: a book classification retrieval unit retrieving the book classification corresponding to the information of the IC tags on the basis of the information of the IC tags received from the portable terminal 201; and a classification number processing device 204 receiving the information of the IC tags and the book classification corresponding to the information of the IC tags from the database 205 and setting the book classification to be retrieved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
