PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V-ribbed belt having long-term durability of the abnormal sound preventive effect, and a V-ribbed belt manufacturing method capable of manufacturing the V-ribbed belt for restraining reduction in the abnormal sound preventive effect.;SOLUTION: This V-ribbed belt has a rubber layer of forming a rib shape by arranging a plurality of strips of ribs in the belt longitudinal direction, and an adhesive layer for covering a surface of the rubber layer and formed by using an adhesive, and is provided by implanting short fiber in a surface of the ribs by adhering the short fiber to a surface of the adhesive layer. The V-ribbed belt and the V-ribbed belt manufacturing method are characterized in that the root side is thicker in the thickness of the adhesive layer than the tip side of the ribs.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
