PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an iSNS (Internet storage name service) service to perform iSCSI (Internet Small Computer System Interface) connection between an iSCSI initiator function and an iSCSI target function present in different networks.;SOLUTION: A value which is the same as iSCSI name set to a means 13 is set to data D34. A means 32 registers a profile D34 to an iSNS server 21. A means 35 then acquires from the iSNS server 21 a profile D33' in correspondence to a means 23 belonging to a discovery domain of the iSNS server 21 and sets an iSNS name extracted from the acquired profile D33' to a profile D33. Next, the means 35 sets an NAPT (Network Address Port Translation) record and stores it to a table T1. A means 31 registers the profile D33 to the iSNS server 11. The means 35 performs NAPT conversion of an iSCSI connection request transmitted by the means 13 by using the table T1 and transmits it to the means 23.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
