MULTIPLEX DATA MUTUAL COMMUNICATION METHOD, MULTIPLEX DATA MUTUAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, TERMINAL ON GATEWAY AND ASYNCHRONOUS NETWORK

摘要

PURPOSE: To realize the mutual communication of multiplex data between a terminal on an asynchronous network and a terminal on a synchronous network with simple device constitution. ;CONSTITUTION: At the time of the mutual communication of multiplx data between a terminal 400 on the asynchronous network 200 dealing with structural data which is made into structure by the plural frames of fixed size and a terminal 600 on the asynchronous network 300 dealing with an elementary stream which is formed by making data into a packet and multiplexing it and to which time information is added, the size of the packet in the elementary stream is set based on the unit of the frame, and time stamps showing the period of decoding reproduction are added to the respective packets in the elementary stream. Thus, the synchronous state of multiplex data on structural data can be displayed by the time stamps and data which are packet-multiplexed can easily be synchronized at the time of decoding reproduction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
