PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DME ground device without requiring adjustment for measuring a system delay time according to setting places. PSOLUTION: The DME ground device has: a DME antenna receiving an interrogation signal transmitted from an airplane and transmitting a response signal to the airplane; an antenna detector detecting the transmission of the response signal; a directional coupler connected through the first cable; a transponder part, connected to the directional coupler, generating a response signal and transmitting the response signal after a predetermined system delay time; and a monitor control part, connected to the antenna detector through the second cable, monitoring the transponder part. When measuring the system delay time, the pseudo-interrogation signal generated and transmitted by the monitor control part is input to the transponder part through the directional coupler, and the response signal corresponding to the pseudo-interrogation signal is transmitted to a system delay measuring part in the monitor control part to measure the system delay time.
