PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship rudder having a large or extremely large size, avoiding the erosion result of a rudder blade due to cavitation occurrence when used in a high-speed ship having an especially loaded propeller, in particular, a balancing rudder blade having a torsion rudder tip edge.;SOLUTION: The ship rudder comprises: a balancing rudder blade 100 having an elongated profile and a thin profile thickness; and a rudder pipe 120 positioned above a propeller 115 facing the rudder blade and the rudder blade. The rudder is equipped with a rudder post 140 inside the rudder pipe. The rudder blade comprises two blade parts 10, 20 having different heights. Regarding front strips 11, 21 facing the propeller, the front strip 11 is inclined to port or starboard while the front strip 21 is inclined to starboard or port. Two sidewall surfaces of the rudder blade 100 constrict to a rear strip 15 against the propeller, and have a different arc profile.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
