PSOLUTION: The lithium transition metal compound powder for the positive electrode material of the lithium secondary battery is obtained in such a way that a lithium transition metal compound having a function capable of inserting and releasing lithium ions is used as a main component, 0.01-2 mole percent of one or more kinds of additives for suppressing particle growth or sintering in baking to the total molar amount of transition metal elements of the main component raw material are added to a main component raw material, and baked.
