PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire material for core wire-containing mooring coils, producing a core wire-containing mooring coil such that its section represents a square wire material body and its flank is substantially totally of a design which makes contact with the adjoining flank shifted by a single winding, and has appearance of very superior profound sensation, in terms of design can be afforded with crowns manifested on the outside of wire material, as well, to provide a method for producing the wire material, and to provide such a core wire-containing mooring coil, and to provide a method for producing the core wire-containing mooring coil.;SOLUTION: The wire material for core wire-containing mooring coils comprises a wire material body made by forming a resin with both thermoplasticity and elasticity and a core wire, threaded into the wire material body and having high tensile strength. In this wire material, the section of the wire material body 2C is substantially inverted trapezoidal and the core wire 3 is situated deviated by a necessary dimension toward the shorter lower side off the section center of the wire material body 2C. By subjecting the above resin to extrusion molding via a molding nozzle, threading this core wire at a position which is deviated downward by a required dimension off the center of the nozzle and extruding the core wire together with the resin, the section of the resin becomes substantially inverted trapezoidal and the core wire 3 is situated, deviating downward from the center of the section of the wire material body 2C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
