PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide calcium-absorbed rice by making the whole parts of the rice absorb the calcium, and to provide a method for producing the same.;SOLUTION: This method for making the rice absorb calcium citrate is provided by circulating the rice in a rice polisher, then abrading the surface skin part of the rice bran layer of the above rice, mixing/agitating a necessary amount of calcium citrate with a prescribed amount of the polished rice, and absorbing/maturing for a long period of time, by adjusting the temperature and humidity so as to make the rice absorb calcium citrate. The abrasion of the surface skin part of the rice bran layer of the rice, and the mixing/agitation and maturation for absorption of the calcium citrate should be performed twice or more.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
