SEAL ARRANGEMENT, ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PRESSURE RANGE, PREFERABLY FOR USE IN CO2 COMPRESSOR

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal arrangement for preventing abrasion and leakage of a sliding surface particularly in running-in time, in the seal arrangement particularly used for a high pressure range, suitably for use in a COSB2/SBcompressor. PSOLUTION: This seal arrangement has a sliding ring seal having a counter ring 4 and a sliding ring. The sliding ring seal is juxtaposed with the sliding surface for forming a seal gap. Particularly in the running-in time of the sliding surface, at least one seal lip 22 is attached to the seal gap so as to guarantee high sealability. A medium passing through the seal gap is surely captured by the seal lip 22. Since pressing force of both sliding mate members can be small, the abrasion of the sliding surface is also suitably small. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
