PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a priority function allocation device and a priority function allocation method which makes an operation about a function highly necessary for a user possible by using operation buttons by providing the device main body with the required minimum number of operation buttons. PSOLUTION: The priority function allocation device is equipped with a use function counting part 104 which counts the number of times when performance instructions are inputted for each of a plurality of functions which a device 3 to be operated has and a use function selection part 105 which selects functions from the highest order to a predetermined order or the total number of operation buttons in order of functions which have much number of times among the plurality of functions based on the number of times counted by the use function counting part 104 and reorganizes correspondence relation with an operation button 111 by allocating the selected function to the operation button 111 by a function allocation part 102.
