PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant, an anti-agent, an anti-inflammatory agent, a skin cosmetic, a food, and drink for beauty culture comprising an extract from Gerberiapiloselloides Gerbera.;SOLUTION: The antioxidant comprises the extract from Gerberiapiloselloides Gerbera and has at least any of superoxide scavenging actions, radical scavenging actions, hydrogen peroxide scavenging actions and glutathione production promoting actions. The anti-aging agent comprises the extract from the Gerberiapiloselloides Gerbera and has at least any of dermatofibroblast proliferating actions, type-IV collagen production promoting actions, MMP-1 (matrix metalloprotease-1) activity inhibitory actions and estrogen-like actions.
